About Lorrie Mason
From
the moment I was introduced to working silver, I have
fearlessly experimented with its properties and the
ability of the metal. I am drawn to it’s pure color
and generosity. Pounding, bending, drilling, connecting,
and building mini pieces with fire is inspirational.
I try to let go and be a channel for work that is symbolic
of beauty and reflects a peaceful feeling. I have been
designing, manufacturing, and marketing sterling silver
jewelry since 1989. Operated a push-cart style vending
business on Tampa’s Franklin Street pedestrian mall
from 1992-1996 Obtained a degree in psychology from
USF in 1990. Currently teaching Metalsmithing at the
Artists Unlimited Warehouse in the Channel District-
Tampa. |
